Members of the Somali Parliament are participating in the 145th International Parliamentary Union Conference in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
The general conference is scheduled to be officially opened tomorrow, and the delegates had meetings with the members of the parliaments of the Islamic countries and the Arab parliament.
In both meetings, the situation in the countries of Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, the issue of Palestine and Pakistan where 1,700 people lost their lives due to the flood situation in the country since early June this year was discussed.
For our part, we talked about the drought situation in Somalia and the war that the government and the people are fighting in cooperation with the terrorist groups, and we pointed out that we need support to overcome both problems.
