President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held a meeting with the King of Jordan, King Abdullah Binu Hussein, at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
President Hassan Sheikh briefed the King of Jordan on the situation in Somalia and the changes in security, economy and development that his government is working on, saying that it is committed to the stability of the country and the fight against the Al-Shabaab group.
The two leaders brought up the strengthening of the relationship between the two countries, promising that the two governments will assign diplomats to continue working on the relations and cooperation plans between the two in the fields of security and stability.
President Hassan Sheikh, who is in New York, is holding a meeting with officials from international governments, discussing the current situation in the country and Somalia’s relationship with other international governments.
