The meeting of the National Consultative Council is still underway in the capital city of Mogadishu. The heads of the Federal Government & Regional Governments are discussing several issues including security, fighting Al-Shabaab, strengthening relations & other issues.
The presidents of Jubbaland, Hir-Shabelle, South West & Galmudug regional governments are in Mogadishu while the president of Puntland, Said Abdullahi Deni, attended the remote viewing on the 1st day of the conference.
The leaders are exchanging discussions on how to secure public security, the cooperation they can do, the plan to face the fight against Al-Shabaab & all other information related to security.
The Presidents of the Regional Governments during the closing hours of the meeting held private meetings with the Heads of the Federal Government as confirmed by close sources.
At the end of the meeting of the National Consultative Council, a report showing the points agreed upon by the Federal Heads and those of the Regional Governments will be presented.
