Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni and other leaders at the state’s capital has met The US ambassador to Somalia Donald Yamamoto, Boosaaso yesterday.
According to a statement released by the State, the semi-autonomous regional state of Somalia’s leadership has discussed a wide range of issues with the US representative.
The meeting was attended by several government officials and ministers including the minister of interior and security.
Puntland’s Interior minister, Mohamed Abdullahi Dabanad stated the sides talked on the US security aid to Puntland, Economics, and Humanitarian Aid.
The ambassador lauded the Puntland state authorities for their dedication to enhancing the security and development in the state.
